Drake Lives out "God's Plan" in New Video

Drake Lives out

"We gave it all away".

The Canadian rapper recently showed off his generosity as he filmed his God's Plan music video in Miami, Florida earlier this month, giving away nearly $1 million (Dhs3.7 million) - the entire God's Plan video budget - to local residents and organisations in need.

At the start of the music video uploaded in the OVO Sound Youtube channel, it says, "The budget for this video was $996,631.90". "God's plan, I can't do this on my own, no", Drake sings in the new single. "Don't tell the label".

According to Billboard, the high school Drake stops by is Miami Senior High School, where he allegedly donated $25,000 and gave the team school uniforms.

When people thought it couldn't get any better, Drake gave UM student Destiny James a $50,000 check to help pay for her education.

I was thinking about wonderful work I've seen Oxfam do across the world, most recently with refugees coming from Myanmar. Caroline Thomson, chair of trustees, said: "It's right to admit this has been a real wake-up call".

"Cried reaaaal tears looking at God's Plan music video".

Hip-hop star Drake spent several days surprising residents throughout Miami-Dade County, giving away tens of thousands of dollars, buying groceries, and even gifting a few luxury cars.

The touching video has been well received by mostly every one of the 35 million people who've already seen it, and it appears Justin Bieber is a huge fan of it.

On Thursday, Drake shared an Instagram photo of the clapperboard for "God's Plan".

Drake took to Instagram to express what the video meant to him: "The most important thing I have ever done in my career" read the caption.
