Pregnant Kate Middleton Attends London Fashion Week Event at Buckingham Palace

As it was a fashion event, Kate and Sophie both chose stylish yet chic looks for the occasion. The stunning black and white number was made of lace and is believed to be made from designer Erdem.

The 36 year-old mother-of-two spoke to British designer Stella McCartney at the event.

The Duchess of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, this evening held a Commonwealth Fashion Exchange Reception at Buckingham Palace.

Her incredible gown came just above the ankle and she opted for a stunning pair of black heels for the event.

Kate's black sash and handbag at the BAFTAs some have suggested could have also been a nod to the movement, while the Duchess also opted to wear a dark colour. The glowing royal wore her handsome rich locks in her trademark voluminous style, which was preened to perfection.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked glowing at the Commonwealth Fashion Exchange reception alongside style greats Anna Wintour and Stella McCartney.

The Fashion Exchange saw designers and artisans from all 52 countries of the Commonwealth create one-of-a-kind sustainable outfits, which were showcased at the reception. After being showcased at Buckingham Palace, the looks will move to public venues in London; the pieces will first move to the Australia House in London.
