Forces foil terror attack at Air Force station in Pulwama

Forces killed an unidentified civilian at airforce station Budgam during the intervening night of 18 February and 19.

The station is in a remote area and there is no habitation near the place of the incident. The police suggested that the man might have been mentally challenged and did not stop despite repeated warnings and the security personnel were forced to take action. After the person ignored the continuous warnings, the forces opened fire at the individual.

The water supply pump shed of the Air Force station here in Malangpora area of Awantipora police district came under a grenade attack followed by heavy firing on Tuesday evening.
