Redmi Note 5 Pro 6GB RAM variant up for flash sale today

Since the unauthorised selling was becoming a big complication for Xiaomi, they finally announced today that they were putting a complete hold on Cash on Delivery options on both their official site (mi.com) and Flipkart. Xiaomi took the internet by storm when this happened some days ago during the initial sales of the Redmi Note 5 Pro. To recall, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a 5.99-inch IPS LCD full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels. While Redmi Note 5 Pro with 6 GB storage will be available in only Black colour, the buyers will have the choice of all four color options for other two smartphones.

Considering it is a flash sale, chances are the limited number of units will be sold out quickly.

However, this move by Xiaomi is not a permanent halt to the COD payment option for the buyers of Redmi Note 5 Pro. Xiaomi is aware of the same and perhaps the reason why it has taken this step to stop unauthorized reselling of its smartphones across all its authorized channels.

The Redmi Note 5 is priced at Rs 9,999 for 3GB RAM/32GB of storage variant, whereas the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant will cost around Rs 11,999. Under the hood, the Redmi Note 5 Pro is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 636 chipset paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB of storage.
