Leeds owner launches Twitter attack on Wolves

Fosun International, the owners of Wolves, do hold a stake in Mendes' company but the club has been at pains to state that the agent operates in an advisory capacity only.

It was a tough evening for Leeds United in the Sky Bet Championship last night, with Paul Heckingbottom's side suffering a heavy defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road.

A Wolves spokesperson said on Thursday: "We remain completely compliant with the EFL's profit and sustainability rules, and have absolutely no concerns about breaching them in the future".

The Italian was quick to take to social media after the match to blast Wolves, signling out their relationship with super agent Jorge Mendes.

The EFL said it would meet with Wolves bosses.

"It should be noted that the club was explicitly informed in July 2016 of all the requirements it was expected to meet as part of the change of control, and appropriate arrangements were put in place to ensure compliance".

Strong bench gives Ireland the edge over Scotland as Tadhg Furlong returns
Kinghorn's promotion to the starting line-up left a space on the bench which has been filled by his teammate Lee Jones. But, with his pace and his rugby ability, moving to the wing gives us another option in that position".

Leo Bonatini was disappointing at Fulham - will he retain his place or will Benik Afobe get his first start since returning to the club.

A subsidiary of Fosun owns a share in Mendes' agency and several of his clients are at Molineux, including head coach Nuno Espirito Santo and record signing Ruben Neves.

Radrizzani, who completed his takeover of Leeds in May 2017, tweeted: "We have our own problems but we should play in a fair competition".

"Congratulations to the best team but hope the league can be fair and equal to all 24 teams".

Judging by the reaction online, fans of the club believe that the Italian is trying to shift attention away from Leeds' disappointing form.

Great performance last night boys. It's not only Radrizzani though who is complaining about there not being a level playing field with Mendes' involvement, numerous Championship clubs are too.
