California Special Mustang drops just in time for spring break

The California Special began as a dealer special edition in 1967, inspired by the Shelby GT notchback coupe prototype, but it was so popular that in 1968 Ford took the reins and built its own factory version. Those cars looked especially trick with the blacked-out grille and side stripe the modern vehicle honours complemented by fog lamps, a Shelby-styled side scoop and spoiler, and custom taillights.

Along with the return of the Bullitt-edition Mustang GT, inspired by the vehicle Steve McQueen drove in the classic film, Ford will also be offering a California Special version of the pony auto after a year hiatus. Ford officials liked the California Special so much that they chose to offer a limited number of cars of the 1968 model year. Of course, the GT/CS will come with the revised 5.0L V8, delivering 460 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque along with the rest of the mechanical features of the modern Mustang GT.

4 - The black rear taillight panel is adorned with a new California Special badge in red, and it looks great.

Stokes to miss Lord's Test against India
The trial is set for August 6, which effectively rules the all-rounder out of England's Test match against India three days later. The two other men charged - Ryan Hale , 28, and Ryan Ali , 26 - attended in person and also pleaded not guilty.

Other special visual features include unique five-spoke painted/machined wheels, a blacked-out open grille, and a Race Red "California Special" badge on the decklid applique.

5 - The 2019 GT/CS gets unique wheels with a machined face and painted pockets. In reality, daily-driving a Mustang is wildly impractical but, dropping cash on the new 2018 Mustang California Special starts to make sense now that Ford gave it some modern tech making it easier to live with on a regular basis.

And those who want to go full retro can opt for one of the new throwback shades coming to the 2019 Mustang, like Velocity Blue or Need for Green.
