'I'm Done,' Cameron Diaz Allegedly Quits Hollywood, To Focus On Family Life

At the Goop Wellness Summit in 2017, she revealed what may have pulled her away from acting. She's more than capable of saying "fuck it" to the industry.

Diaz and Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden met in 2014 and married seven months later in a close-knitted ceremony in the living room of their Beverly Hills home and celebrated their union with an after-party on the tennis court. Beloved actress and comedienne (a word I detest, but in this case it feels fitting) Cameron Diaz has reportedly retired from acting.

But if you were all on board for a sequel to the film that made Cameron Diaz a star, well you can forget about it because apparently she's done with acting.

Cameron Diaz is over Hollywood. The pair starred together in the 2002 romantic comedy The Sweetest Thing, and Blair referred to that movie while talking about what Diaz is up to these days. When asked if she'd consider a The Sweetest Thing sequel, she said "I would have liked to do a sequel, but Cameron's retired from acting, She's like, 'I'm done'". She has a pretty great life, I don't know what it would take to bring her back. She recalled how the constant travel and life on film sets affected her.

Cameron Diaz was synonymous with the "90s rom-com". She got married in 2015 and hasn't looked back at Hollywood, Page Six reported.

U.S. study finds fake news spreads faster than real news
Ultimately, readers have the power to decide what gets shared: "If we don't click, the false information doesn't spread". For now, Roy says, even well-meaning Twitter users might reflect on a simple idea: "Think before you retweet".

Sounds like the actress is so over her movie career.

Another anonymous source said Diaz is "happy, in love, and wants to make the most of her freedom and free time".

When she lent her voice to Fiona, the human princess trapped in a dragon-guarded castle and cursed with becoming an ogre after nightfall, Diaz became the treasure of one of the most celebrated animated franchises of the 21st century. She received four Golden Globe nominations but again no wins.

As pickpocket Jenny Everdeane, Diaz played the object of Leonardo DiCaprio's affection in Gangs of NY, the period drama about the crime ridden Five Points district of 19th century Manhattan.
