Kenya stun United States as they enter Canada Sevens finals

NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 11- Kenya will face England in the Main Cup Quarter Finals at the Vancouver Sevens on Sunday at 10:14pm after finishing second in Pool C with two wins and one loss coming courtesy of pool winners Fiji.

Fiji Airways Fijian 7s team captain Seremaia Tuwai was speechless after winning the Canada 7s.

The second half was a case of things fall apart for Kenya as Fiji scored 19 unanswered points to pull away with 31-12 victory. "All the teams now are very hard to play against, not like before".

Sevuloni Mocenacagi scored two tries, the second of which launched Fiji's second-half surge.

The result ensured Shujaa will now meet United States of America in the last four as Fiji meets champions and series leaders South Africa in the other semi. Again, Fiji claimed the kickoff and this time Mocenacagi broke into the open field and dashed nearly 50 meters to again restore parity.

Following that loss, Eden Hazard raised eyebrows by saying he could have played for "three hours" and not touched the ball. Conte said on Friday that his reaction to the Belgian star's criticism will be kept strictly in house.

Nasilasila also featured in the lead-up to the next try, kicking into open space for Alasi Sovita Naduva, who kicked the ball on and claimed a helpful bounce to score.

Fiji became the first team to notch two tournament titles this season, leapfrogging New Zealand to move from third to second in the series standings behind South Africa.

South Africa responded with two tries from Siviwe Soyizwapi and tries from Cecil Afrika and Dylan Sage - Sage scoring well after the siren to extinguish Australian hopes.

The United States finished second in Australia's group, earning the Eagles a quarterfinal showdown with New Zealand.

The series now heads to Hong Kong for the seventh round April 6-8.
