[Match Highlights] Arsenal 3-0 Watford - All The Goals & Best Bits

Pereyra (Okaka, min. 67), Richarlison, Deeney.

The win came after one of the most hard spells of Wenger's time at Arsenal following three successive defeats - the 3-0 losses to Manchester City in the League and Carabao Cup final and a 2-1 reverse at Brighton. Henrikh Mkhitaryan found Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who rounded the keeper to double Arsenal's lead.

But the Gunners took the lead only six minutes later when Mesut Ozil's free-kick from the left touchline was powerfully headed in by Mustafi.

However, Ozil wouldn't be denied his 50th Premier League assist for long. However he could have added to that tally, and even had a goal himself.

The Gabon global striker joined the Gunners at the end of the January transfer window, with a deadline day deal taking him to Emirates Stadium from Borussia Dortmund. He collected the ball inside the area and just as he looked to stroke the ball home Karnezis made a brilliant stop.

Watford weren't cowed, however, and kept probing the Gunners backline, with Abdoulaye Doucoure forcing a fine stop from Cech not soon after.

Eric Bailly's freaky own goal gave Liverpool hope in the second half, but United held on for a first victory over their North West rivals since January, 2016."Perfect result".

Fortnite cross-play coming soon to Xbox One but not PS4
Still, Microsoft has stated that they are working closely with Epic Games to enable the feature sometime in the future. Unfortunately, Xbox One was woefully left off the list of platforms supporting cross-play functionality.

"We feel the pressure on the club because of our successive losses so we talked with each other to get through this tough phase", Elneny concluded.

Moments later Watford were awarded with a penalty.

Watford's chance to reduce the deficit from the spot came two minutes later, when Ainsley Maitland-Niles clumsily left his body in the path of Pereyra to go tumbling over.

Watford had a chance to pull one back but Troy Deeney's penalty was saved by Petr Cech.

Arsenal should have been handed a penalty of their own as Mariappa caught Mkhitaryan with a late challenge inside the box, this time Atkinson gave nothing. Unfortunately for the Gunners nothing was given. Karnezis palmed the ball out but only as far as Aubameyang. The North Londoners looked nearly unrecognisable from their game against Brighton last week, but they'll have a long way to go before they're back in their fans' good books, and their inconsistency will no doubt be the cause of much frustration.

Iwobi was subbed off for Danny Welbeck in the 66th minute in his 19th appearance of the season (15 starts four substitute).
