WWE star Jeff Hardy arrested for driving while impaired in Cabarrus County

Hardy has been out of action since undergoing surgery on September 27th but he was recently cleared to return to action.

Jeff Hardy's return to the squared circle may have hit another speed bump - depending how WWE wants to handle this latest development - after an incident that occurred in Concord, North Carolina, on Saturday evening. However, we do know that Hardy did $8,000 in damages to his Cadillac CTS-V and rack up an additional $5,000 for damaging almost 105 feet of guardrail. Hardy was arrested at 10:39pm EST and released later that night.

Wrestling Inc reports that the arrest took place after Jeff ran off the roadway around 8pm and struck a guardrail, which caused his vehicle to spin out into the middle of the right northbound lane. "The driver was arrested and charged with DWI". This is standard procedure for such arrests in North Carolina.
