Bears expected to sign WR Allen Robinson when free agency opens

Chicago Bears look to have won the race for Allen Robinson - one of the premier receivers available in Free Agency. Injuries have dogged the Bears at the position with Kevin White going out for the season a year ago in Week 1 and Cameron Meredith missing the entire season with a torn ACL.

As for what this means from a fantasy perspective, Robinson should remain in a similar tier to the one he was with while on the Jaguars. He posted 73 catches for 883 yards with six touchdowns in the following season. Meredith is a restricted free agent. The Bears also are interested in receiver Albert Wilson. However, he has proven talent with more than 2,200 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns from 2015-16.

Adding receivers for Trubisky was a top priority for Pace. He suffered a torn ACL last preseason and missed the whole year, but he expects to be ready for the start of 2018 training camp. He had career bests of 24 receptions, 376 yards and a 15.7-yard average per catch last season.

Kim Jong Un Wants a Peace Treaty With Donald Trump
Central Illinois Congressman Rodney Davis is not convinced President Trump should meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Many people were shocked last week by news of the planned talks between the leaders of the United States and North Korea.

Knowing their current state, Robinson likely landed in the optimal offense to succeed from a production standpoint. He played for new coach Matt Nagy with the Chiefs.

Allen Robinson posted a picture to his Instagram page late last month and the wide receiver was posing on the front entry of a home wearing workout trousers, a knit hat, a gray jacket over a Cubs jerseys and great big smile. That leaves just seven wide receivers who finished outside the "startable" range in leagues that start three wide receivers. That said, it wouldn't be surprising if Robinson's deal guarantees double that, or close to it. If you're anxious about his ACL, don't be, as modern medicine has proven to nearly ideal the surgery so that it has minimal/if any effect on that player's future production. Let's see if he can take that next step.

Robinson has great size for the outside and go-up-and-get-it abilities, a skill set the Bears sorely lacked last season after Alshon Jeffery left in free agency.
