Bride driving to her wedding arrested for DUI

Marana, Arizona police say a bride-to-be was taken into custody on Monday morning for driving under the influence.

She was handcuffed and put into the back of a police auto at 10.30am yesterday in Marana, Arizona, 30 miles north of Tuscon.

Wearing a diaphanous dress for her big day, a handcuffed Amber Young, 32, was pictured being ushered by an officer into a Marana Police Department squad vehicle.

Maybe next time she'll say "I do" ― to driving sober.

More than 3,000 additional USA forces have also arrived in Afghanistan to boost the training and advising of local troops. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said on Tuesday as he made an unannounced visit to Afghanistan.

Police said one person sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. One person was transported with minor injuries.

Scott used the occasion to issue a warning about staying off the road when impaired, "Till death do we part doesn't need any help", he said on Twitter.

An officer suspected Young, who was wearing a white, floor-length dress, was driving impaired.

Chriswell Scott, a spokesman for the MPD, said Young was arrested in the field and released after submitting to a blood test.
