Paralympics 2018: United States medal tracker

Russian paralympic athlete Ekaterina Rumyantseva won gold in a ski race at 2018 Paralympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang. She has three more chances to bring home a medal.

Ukraine's national team has already won ten medals - four gold, two silver and four bronze. Hall gave a fantastic performance in Part 1 of the Men's Super Combined earlier this afternoon, setting the 7th fastest time overall amongst a field of 32 Para skiers in the Super-G.

Taras finished ahead of USA athletes Daniel Cnossen and Andrew Soule who took silver and bronze respectively.

The 30-year-old from Carseldine in Queensland has also become the first Australian man to win medals at both a Winter and Summer Paralympics, having won bronze in athletics at London 2012. On Tuesday, he earned ninth place in the men's 12.5km sitting biathlon. This takes New Zealand to two medals overall, following Corey Peters' bronze on Saturday in the Men's Downhill Sitting event.

Switzerland's Theo Gmur took his first Paralympic gold in the men's standing skiing, and United States skier Andrew Kurka, the reigning downhill world champion, won the race in the men's sitting category. The bronze-medal game is Friday at 11 p.m. and the gold-medal game is Saturday at 11 p.m.

All of the NPA's gold medals came from biathlon: Ekaterina Rumyantseva taking gold in the women's standing and Mikhalina Lysova winning the women's 6km vision impaired event. He previously won the gold medal at the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver and the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi.

With the 17 goals, Canada has now scored 991 since Hockey Canada took over the sledge hockey program in 2004.
