South Dakota State Men Open NCAA Tournament With Ohio State

Ohio State takes on the No. 12 seed South Dakota State Jackrabbits on Thursday to get things rolling in the NCAA tournament. The Jackrabbits didn't give themselves a cupcake schedule out of conference, taking on some tough opposition with the likes of Colorado, Wichita State, Missouri State and Kansas while also picking up wins over Mississippi, Buffalo and Iowa.

The NCAA Tournament teams are known with the bracket completely unveiled. Redshirt junior guard Macy Miller leads a high-powered South Dakota State offense which is averaging 78.3 points per game.

The SDSU women, winners of the Summit League Tournament for the eighth time in ten years will find out their NCAA Tournament opponent during tomorrow (March 12) night's selection show at 6:00 PM on ESPN. Ohio State enters the NCAA Tournament with a 26-6 overall record and went 13-3 in Big Ten play. However the Buckeyes tournament stay didn't last long, losing to the Penn State Nittany Lions in the quarterfinals.

If Ohio State were to advance past South Dakota State, they will face the victor between Gonzaga, the 4-seed, and 13th-seeded UNC-Greensboro.
