Official Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald teaser trailer

We've seen it before in the "Harry Potter" series. The trailer majorly revolves around a young Dumbledore with ample footage of Jude Law essaying the character.

But some fans were more open-minded, suggesting that, as the events of the film are set in the 1920s, the action may take place before the rule against apparating was brought into effect. We only see one quick shot of Grindelwald, but perhaps that is on goal, because of the increasing backlash against star Johnny Depp, who plays him in the movies. It was released on 13 March 2018, giving us our first glimpse at what's in store. You can also watch the first official trailer.

Apart from Eddie Redmayne's protagonist Newt Scamander and Depp's Grindelwald, Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein, Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski, Alison Sudol as Queenie and Ezra Miller as Credence Barebone are also returning. We knew and loved the Harry Potter books before the movies were released, but this time it's movie first, book second. We look forward already to discover the next film from David Yates, because in Fantastic beasts 2, the magizoologiste going to cross the road from Dumbledore, a character well known to fans of Harry Potter. He had a cameo in the first Fantastic Beasts movie during the climax.

In the early 20th century, apart from being a professor of Transfiguration at Hogwarts, Dumbledore was also monitoring the movements of Grindelwald (the darkest of dark wizards before Voldemort rose to power) and appointed his former student Newton Scamander (played by Eddie Redmayne, who else!), you know, just to be his accomplice in Mission Grindelwald. But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings. He has published his book, and is finally over Leta Lestrange. Later in the trailer, he meets Newt on the roof of St. Paul's Cathedral in London and says: "I can't move against Grindelwald".
