Taylor Swift hides Joe Alwyn references in Delicate music video

The love song is rumoured to be about the 26-year-old actor, who Taylor has been dating since last year - so it might not come as a surprise if the video reflected that.

Per usual, it appears Swift is shaking the controversy off, choosing instead to share video of her rehearsal sessions with her most dedicated fans and followers. Tearing the hem of her dress, and removing hateful high heel shoes, the singer does not just dance, but began to dance everywhere: at the reception-Desk in the hotel, the subway and on the street (and she did it in the pouring rain).

The Bad Blood hitmaker's promo for Delicate debuted at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday night (11Mar18), with the footage featuring a bored Swift, apparently sick of her superstardom, practising her fake smile for the public and the press in a mirror.

Social media users were quick to point out the similarities. Swift gave fans deeper insight into the video on Tuesday when she shared behind-the-scenes clips of her rehearing the dance in two parts on Instagram. "The setting, color palette, choreography, everything", another person tweeted.

They pointed out there appeared to be some similarities to a Kenzo perfume advert, directed by USA producer and actor Spike Jonze, which was released past year.
