Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane to return to training next month

The Premier League's leading scorer this season damaged ankle ligaments for the third time in 18 months on Sunday for Tottenham against Bournemouth.

The England worldwide hobbled off in the first half of Spurs' 4-1 win at Bournemouth on Sunday after colliding with goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, and he left the Vitality Stadium on crutches and wearing a protective boot.

Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane leaves the pitch.

He was due to have a scan yesterday but his ankle was too swollen for it to be done.

Both Southgate and Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will be praying Kane's recovery is more in line with when he hurt his ankle for the second time, against Millwall past year, but recovered much faster than expected.

Tillerson's Exit Could Doom the Iran Nuclear Deal
European diplomats saw some chance Pompeo may have more influence over Trump than Tillerson, who antagonized the USA president by reportedly calling him a "moron" and who differed with Trump on Iran and other issues.

Kane has scored 24 goals in the Premier League this season.

But he will miss Tottenham's FA Cup quarter-final at Swansea on Saturday, as well as two England friendly matches the following week.

With the World Cup just three months away, Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate will also be eager to find out how long Kane could be sidelined for.

Those problems were of differing severity, however, with the first one keeping him out of 10 games, though he was able to return within a month of the second incident.

While he faces a race against time to be fit for Spurs' top clash at home to Manchester City on April 14.
