Ndamukong Suh Rumors: Cowboys, Seahawks Interested in Free-Agent DT

One of the NFL's worst kept secrets was finally revealed on Wednesday as the Miami Dolphins cut Ndamukong Suh. Leading a franchise turnaround is a tall order for any defensive tackle, and while the Dolphins came closest in the 10-6 campaign of 2016, they never quite got what they wanted out of the Suh era.

The Miami Dolphins signed Danny Amendola on a two-year contract, and they have released Suh.

Baker Mayfield #6 of the North team throws the ball during the first half of the Reese's Senior Bowl against the the South team at Ladd-Peebles Stadium on January 27, 2018 in Mobile, Alabama. "So that's going to be a decision that probably Suh has to make more so than the Patriots have to make".

Warriors lose Thompson to fractured right thumb
In addition to Curry and Thompson out, the Warriors will be without Draymond Green because of right shoulder soreness. Thompson has missed only one game this season, on January 10 (Jan. 11, PHL time) against the LA Clippers for rest.

According to ESPN's Dianna Russini, both the Seattle Seahawks and the Dallas Cowboys are interested in adding Suh. However, this puts a $22.2 million dead money cap hit for the 2018 season only freeing up around $4 million in additional salary cap space. He offers a career resume of 420 tackles, 51.5 sacks, 28 passes defensed and four forced fumbles over eight National Football League seasons, as well as a reputation for being a disruptive force who nearly always commands a double-team.

Still only 31-years-old, Suh is in the prime of his career and ranked third on NFL.com's top 101 free agents list, behind Kirk Cousins, who has just joined the Minnesota Vikings on a three-year deal worth $81 million, and New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees.
