Samsung now offerings in-person service for Galaxy phones in the US

Samsung says that these uBreakiFix centers will be able to offer same-day fix service in most cases.

Samsung makes one of the best Android handsets there out there but more important than selling smartphones is a way to provide customers on how to get them repaired immediately should something unfortunate happen to them.

Getting your Samsung Galaxy phone fixed is about to be a whole lot easier, and faster, to boot. Plus, the companies plan to add nearly 200 additional service locations by early 2019.

That includes front and back replacements, including cracked and broken screens.

The authorized uBreakiFix stores, which are located in all major USA metro areas, will offer front and back screen replacements, battery replacements, port and camera repairs and other in- and out-of-warranty services for phones ranging from the Samsung Galaxy S6 to the S9, as well as the Note 5 and Note 8. Still, with most of the phones on Samsung's list of supported devices being water-resistant, hopefully that won't be such a problem. Also, by early 2019, Samsung and uBreakiFix plan to add about 200 more Samsung Care authorized uBreakiFix service locations to expand customer reach. What's more, it says that most repairs can be completed in two hours or less, and are fixed on-site.

To use this service, you can either schedule an appointment online, or just head to an authorized uBreakiFix service location and drop off your device. Since the Samsung Care authorized uBreakiFix service locations are in all major United States metro areas, the handset manufacturer hopes to reach the majority of the continental U.S. population. Will you make use of this new partnership between Samsung and uBreakiFix?
