Tottenham Hotspur reported record revenue of £306.3m on Tuesday, but the Premier League club's chairman said he expected "many challenges" in the coming months. "Instead, we conceded a goal in the last minute of the first half, and that created a bit of problems in our mind".

Conte has complained about the summer's transfer activity at Chelsea regularly throughout the season, with his side now an outside bet to make the Champions League following the 3-1 defeat by Tottenham on Super Sunday. In almost four years, Spurs have gone from being also-rans to genuine title contenders and top four candidates.

Spurs are now boosted by the return of goal machine Harry Kane from injury, although it's not like they've struggled without him - netting 10 goals in three outings.

Chelsea, the reigning PL champs, have regressed worryingly while Spurs have at the very least stayed at the same level which is no mean feat given they've played the entire season in a temporary home at Wembley Stadium.

Asked about Alli's celebration, in which he cupped his hand to his ear, Pochettino said: "I didn't see the celebration".

"But I think in this team there are many good players". If we are in this position, we deserve to be in this position.

PayMeToo adds to push against gender wage gap
Figures from the Government Equalities Office showed only seven out of 44 forces had a gap in single figures. While there are more women than men in the top quartile, this represents 19% of all female staff.

Morata hadn't scored in the Premier League since Boxing Day, but no one has scored more headed goals in the league this season and he was left with the easiest of tasks to nod into an empty net as Lloris flapped at Victor Moses's cross. "It was a free ball and I think we made a mistake".

"I'm trying to work and we've got our heads down and working really hard. Today we had a great chance to close the gap but we lost the chance".

"And that's not because we don't want him here, or we don't think he's done a great job, it's just the nature of the job here". With complaints about the quality of players at his disposal all season long and digs at the board and the recruitment policy at the club, Conte has been a dead man walking all season. In that time they have gone through 11 managers, and Conte is unlikely to be exempt from the short-termist policy.

The fact is, Chelsea have won 14 trophies under Roman Abramovic since he joined in 2004.

Nevertheless, the Italian tactician has conceded that he has absolutely no concerns over his immediate prospect at Stamford Bridge, and is exclusively focusing on the current season.

Chelsea, who were knocked from Champions League by Barcelona in the round-of-16, could still end the season with some silverware as they take on Southampton in the FA Cup semi-finals on April 22.
