Telugu film assn denies membership to Sri Reddy

Telugu actor Sri Reddy has said she will continue to fight against sexual harassment in the local film industry even if she has to go on an all-out war with the Movie Artistes' Association (MAA).

Slamming Sri Reddy for her "publicity seeking stunt", MAA President reiterated that she will not be given membership and that the association is well within its rights to prevent their artistes from working with her.

The name Sri Reddy is in news from quite a few days, she is an actress and TV presenter who has worked in Telugu cinema and TV. "He works as an IAS officer". This comes at a time while almost the whole of MAA is united in its stand against Sri Reddy.Meanwhile, Sri reiterated on Monday that her fight against the alleged exploitation of women in Tollywood would continue through her web page, SriLeaks. "On what basis will they ban me?"

In an interview with The Times Of India, Reddy said that some Telugu filmmakers asked her to send naked photos and videos as a precondition for roles in their films. Mahesh assured her, "Though I differ with you on certain issues and your approach, I support your campaign against the casting couch".

"I will make it a big issue at the national and worldwide level, if my demands are not met", she said. She must be referring to Abhi Ram as she made it clear that some celebs have turned film studios into brothels. And recently she claimed a son of powerful film producer sexually abused her in a studio owned by the government.

IPL 2018: KL Rahul credited his fastest half century to this legend
Talking about the teams, KXIP looks quite balanced with players like Yuvraj Singh , David Miller , Chris Gayle and KL Rahul . It may come as a shocker that T20 cricket's most fierce batsman Gayle was not a part of Kings playing XI.

She alleged that the person used to call her to the studios on the pretext of work and then forcefully have sex with her. "But I'll continue to fight", Reddy said. Many senior actors, directors and producers blame junior actors for falling prey to such "shortcuts".

When cornered, MAA representatives stated that the association is always ready to "listen to women and their grievances" and that they had solved many issues in the past.

When asked why all of a sudden MAA breaks its silence over the infamous casting couch, the actor says it's nothing but a face-saving attempt from them.

On Saturday, she wrote on the wall of Facebook that that her owner had asked her to vacate the house after she stripped in public for justice.
