NY Times: Mueller looking at $150K payment from Ukrainian billionaire

Cohen's office was recently raided by federal agents, who were able to confiscate tax documents and communications between him and Trump. "Our national security will continue to be jeopardized by ongoing investigations by the FBI", Schoen wrote, "and potentially the Justice Department and Congress, putting us at immediate risk of more assertive actions in Europe, Middle East and Asia by the Russians and Chinese" (thank god Trump won and spared America these risks).

Throughout the 2016 campaign, Donald Trump savaged Hillary Clinton for accepting speaking fees and charitable donations from "globalists" who sought to establish "open borders".

Special counsel Robert Mueller is doing some digging on a Ukrainian payment to President Trump, and his shovel seems to have hit a nerve.

Michael D. Cohen, the president's personal lawyer whose office and hotel room were raided on Monday in an apparently unrelated case, solicited the donation.

Pinchuk's donation represents the largest one received by the Trump Organization, other than donations made by Trump, according to The Times.

Raazi trailer: Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal put up a promising act
The much-awaited trailer of Meghna Gulzaar directed Raazi starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal is finally out. Though, her character will be that of soy primarily, Sehmat will be seen having numerous other shades as well.

The President took to Twitter Wednesday morning to criticize the New York Times for reporting the Russian Federation investigation is looking at the $150,000 his foundation received from Ukrainian billionaire Victor Pinchuk. The charity reached out to Trump and other world leaders in order to "promote strengthened and enduring ties between Ukraine and the West", it said.

In a statement to the Times, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation said the donation was a "specific request" from the Trump Foundation. Second is the fact that it went to the Trump Foundation - which came under scrutiny during the presidential campaign for its shady practices, specifically documents that showed Trump pulled about a quarter of a million dollars from the foundation's budget to settle lawsuits related to his business.

But again, Trump came under fire for taking the donation when it was first reported in 2016. Pinchuk also attended the former president's 65th birthday party in Los Angeles. Pinchuk gave between $10 million and $25 million to the Clinton Foundation and reportedly once lent his private plane to the Clintons.

Trump isn't the only American politician Pinchuk has given money to, either.

Meanwhile, the Times' report about Pinchuk's donation to the Trump Foundation comes after Mueller questioned at least three wealthy Russian oligarchs over whether they directly or indirectly funneled money into the Trump campaign.
