Seahawks postponed visit with Colin Kaepernick over anthem kneeling

The Seattle Seahawks reportedly postponed Colin Kaepernick's trip to a pre-season camp with the team after the embattled quarterback told the team he would not stop his national anthem kneeling protests.

A source told the Seattle Times that the Seahawks asked Kaepernick about his plans for the upcoming season and his "off the field activities" and Kaepernick said he didn't know.

It's fine if the Seahawks aren't interested in Kaepernick, but to postpone a visit because he kneels during the anthem is a disgusting look for a franchise that needs a backup quarterback. One source said the Seahawks apparently are not concerned exclusively about Kaepernick kneeling for the anthem but want assurances of his commitment to football. He was deposed by the NFL's lawyers in that lawsuit on Tuesday. "He's not going to have a big a market as you may think, but the anthem issue was brought up, has been reported about with him, now with Colin Kaepernick, so clearly this is not going away".

National Football League teams have shied away from signing the outspoken quarterback as a result of his behavior, even though countless other players at the position with less impressive resumes have received contracts.

Beginning in August 2016, Kaepernick, then with the 49ers, began holding a silent protest during the national anthem to call attention to racism and police brutality against communities of color.

April 7, police made a traffic stop after a random registration check revealed that a car's driver/owner was under suspension. The victim works in a factory in Chapraula village of Badalpur and the accused works in the same company.

In 69 games (58 starts), all with the San Francisco 49ers, Kaepernick was 28-30 and had thrown for 12,271 yards, completing 59 percent of his passes and tossing 72 touchdowns and 30 interceptions.

Kaepernick has been at the center of the two-year controversy. Some might say cancelled it.

Incredibly, there are still those who don't believe that he's being blackballed because of his protest, citing stats.

Kaepernick, who hasn't played since January 1, 2017, also has 2,300 career rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground.
