Similarly, players can also choose between the classic or an updated control scheme, as well as English or Japanese voiceovers.

Following several reports over the last couple of years, Sega kicked off FES 2018 with the announcement that it's re-releasing Shenmue I and Shenmue II for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Ryo ventures deeper into the criminal underworld, meeting martial arts masters who aid him on his journey and offer insight into his father's death, and unravels the mysteries of the Dragon Mirror that his father kept hidden.

Shenmue I & II comes complete with the original feature set that defined modern gaming, including enthralling jujitsu combat, investigative sleuthing, and RPG elements in addition to memorable mini-games. We'll keep an eye out for any updates.

The physical and digital editions will be available to pre-order from first party stores, Steam and USA and EMEA retailers soon.
