Boomerang and 3D drawing camera modes are coming to Facebook Stories

According to sources, the social media giant is going to add attractive AR doodles along with Instagram's Boomerang GIFs to the stories through the Camera button just like Instagram.

The world's largest social network will now allow users to use the Boomerang feature popularized by Instagram Stories in their Facebook Stories, the company confirmed to TechCrunch on Thursday. This is not the first time that Facebook is experimenting with AR. In the coming days, you will be able to smartly use the Stories section of Facebook as you would be able to explore more of Facebook's Stories features through your mobile app. The doodles will then stick to the objects captured in the frame, and users can move around to see their artwork from different angles - a bit like virtual graffiti. "We're testing new creative tools to bring pictures and videos to life, and introducing easier ways to find and share stories", a spokesperson from Facebook told TechCrunch. Facebook also launched AR tracker target experiences which would trigger from QR codes or real-world posters.

Thus, the FOX broadcast team will take over at 1:00 p.m. with the idea that the Food City 500 will get underway around 1:13 p.m. On Friday, teams opted to wait for several minutes before sending their drivers onto the track to make their qualifying runs.

Instagram had recently copied the Snapchat to add the signature Stories feature, now it is Facebook that has adopted the same. The latest is the addition of Instagram Boomerang GIF with Facebook Camera that lets the user draw with abandon. That feature has not been updated yet and it is now getting polished with a whole new look. However, Facebook Stories has been slow to take off and the company has tried to boost usage by making it available to companies and by offering other enhancements.

If we talk about this particular Stories feature on Facebook, it has not been successful as Instagram or Snapchat.
