RBC Heritage: Ian Poulter grabs Round 3 lead

Graeme McDowell finished on the cut mark as Bryson DeChambeau birdied four of his final six holes to take a one-stroke lead after the second round of the RBC Heritage in SC.

Luke List and reigning Players Championship victor Si Woo Kim are tied for second at 12 under.

Poulter, who claimed the final place at last week's Masters with a dramatic play-off win at the Houston Open this month, moved into contention with a 64 in the second round.

Two shots behind DeChambeau were Chesson Hadley (68), past RBC Heritage victor Brandt Snedeker (64), Luke List (64) and first-round leader Rory Sabbatini (70).

Billy Horschel and Pan Cheng-tsung are a further stroke back, while Kevin Kisner shot the joint-low round of the day - a five-under 66 - to move into a tie for sixth.

Twice he had to take a penalty and ended the day with three birdies, four bogeys and a double to miss the cut by as much as four shots.

However, it was a miserable day for overnight leader Bryson DeChambeau, who slipped down the leaderboard to a tie of 20th after a forgettable four-over 75.

Poulter and South Korea's Si Woo Kim initially held the clubhouse lead at nine under, with the latter sinking nine birdies in a 65, which would have been even better if it hadn't been for a triple bogey on the 14th.
