The 44-year-old Colon was working on a flawless game for the Texas Rangers on Sunday night before walking Carlos Correa on a 3-1 pitch to start the eighth.

At 44 years and 326 days old, Big Sexy would have been the oldest pitcher in history to record a ideal game or a no-hitter.

Bartolo Colon almost recorded a flawless game Sunday. He got George Springer and Alex Bregman to ground out, then Jose Altuve lined out to center field to end the inning.

The 44-year-old Rangers pitcher was flawless through seven innings against the Astros before walking Carlos Correa on a 3-1 pitch to leadoff the eighth inning.
