United Nations body dismisses Russsia's attempt to condemn western allies

Russian Federation on Saturday called for an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council as Moscow said it would consider supplying S-300 missile systems to Syria following US -led strikes.

Haley also said that Russian Federation used its veto power to protect the Assad regime and prevented the punishment of those who use chemical weapons in Syria. Russia's demand for condemnation and an immediate halt to "aggression" and "any further use of force" by the three Western allies got support from only two other countries on the 15-member Security Council - China and Bolivia. Four countries abstained - Ethiopia, Kazakhstan, Equatorial Guinea and Peru.

A potential hot war between Russia and the coalition of the United States, Britain and France might have inched closer to reality tonight, as a strong statement was issued by the Russian Ambassador to the United States of America in reponse to tonight's coalition air strikes on Syria.

Indian-origin chef invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding
It will be friends and family, rather than politicians and world leaders, at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding next month. The film will star Murray Fraser ("The Loch") as Prince Harry and Parisa Fitz-Henley ("Midnight Texas") as Meghan Markle .

Russian Federation said that the Western powers "cynically" carried out military action hours before a team from the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons was set to begin an investigation into the suspected chemical weapons attack in the town of Douma in Eastern Ghouta that sparked the intervention by the USA and its allies.

"Again, we are being threatened", Russia's ambassador to the US, Anatoly Antonov, said in a statement. "If we continue on this path, we will soon reach the diplomacy of the absurd", he said. "US not leaving Syria until goals accomplished" Speaking to a media outlet, Nikki Haley said on Sunday that the United States would not pull its troops out of Syria until its goals were accomplished.
