Jacob deGrom tried to jam him inside and was able to break Harper's bat around the handle, but Harper still got enough of the pitch to send it into the bullpen for a dinger. According to MLB's website, the swing propelled the ball 406 feet, with an exit velocity of 99 miles per hour.

Of all the feats Bryce Harper has pulled off in his six-year Major League Baseball career, perhaps none has been quite as remarkable, impressive and downright preposterous than what he accomplished during Monday night during the Nationals-Mets game. The Mets swept Washington in D.C. last weekend.

That home run, by the way, was No. 8 on the season for Harper.
