Moyes reacts to West Ham comeback and Hart's error

West Ham United striker Andy Carroll has insisted that he was satisfied with his side's performance during their 1-1 draw with Stoke City.

Carroll's late strike spares the blushes of teammate Joe Hart, whose mistake allows Peter Crouch - another second-half substitute - to put Stoke ahead in the 79th.

"We've still got four games left, we've got to win them, no-one's safe, and we've got to keep working".

But West Ham roared back and salvaged a potentially invaluable point in the last minute of the 90 when Cresswell's ball into the box was met on the volley by Carroll, who guided the ball beyond a helpless Butland. We played good in parts of the game, it was just the fact we went one behind, because if anyone was going to score first I thought it would be us. "We don't need to put any extra pressure on ourselves". "I couldn't ask for any more from my players", Lambert said.

"If we can do that (beat Burnley), it will set the cat right among the pigeons", said Lambert.

West Ham will count themselves unlucky not to have won after having three goals disallowed in the second half, but the victory means they now stand seven points clear of the bottom three, while Stoke are five points adrift of the safety zone.

Moore: 'everyone worked hard' in shock win over Man Utd
The setup provided Pogba more creative freedom and showed the damage he could do with such license in the derby win. The Premier League title is the 24th trophy of the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss' managerial career.

"If we get a win it drags a few back in and that's the most important thing".

Chances were far and few in the opening stanza, however, Stoke keeper Jack Butland made a massive stop in the first half on Marko Arnautovic when the ball struck the face of the England worldwide.

Oliver and his wife were subjected to social media threats over the incident that led to Juventus's elimination.

Butland was then on hand to turn an Aaron Cresswell free-kick around the post, while the England stopper also took a Marko Arnautovic shot flush in the face.

Playmaker Manuel Lanzini returns to the bench tonight, and joins Adrian, Patrice Evra, Josh Cullen, Jordan Hugill, Andy Carroll and Javier Hernandez as substitutes.

Stoke's best chance - bar the goal - came moments after Arnautovic's disallowed goal when Diouf blazed over from six yards out.
