― Reuters picLONDON, April 17 ― Stoke City manager Paul Lambert had nothing but praise for his team despite them conceding an added-time equaliser at West Ham United on Monday and was convinced they could still produce a great escape to maintain their Premier League status.

Following the game, Sutton said Hart should not be in Gareth Southgate's squad for Russian Federation, saying the goalkeeper had "dropped his ticket" to go to the World Cup.

They did not have too many clear goal-scoring chances with Ramadan Sobhi, Moritz Bauer and Mame Biram Diouf all producing straightforward saves from Joe Hart in the first half.

Hart failed to gather a shot from Xherdan Shaqiri and was second to the rebound as substitute Peter Crouch pounced to put Stoke in front at London Stadium on Monday.

"We didn't go out there with it really planned".

"If we can keep the form going, the idea would be to go unbeaten until the end of the season and I don't see any reason why we shouldn't aim for that and try and get there".

"You can not take someone because they are a nice bloke and good in the dressing room", Sutton said on BBC Radio 5 live.

Moyes reacts to West Ham comeback and Hart's error
Stoke's best chance - bar the goal - came moments after Arnautovic's disallowed goal when Diouf blazed over from six yards out. Oliver and his wife were subjected to social media threats over the incident that led to Juventus's elimination.

West Ham's attacking pressure eventually told, though, Carroll showing poise and balance to volley a Cresswell cross beyond the reach of Butland to earn his side a point. I didn't go over the top because I expect him to do that. I think the important thing was to make sure we didn't lose tonight.

"I thought we deserved something".

"If you get to 40 points, then it'll be close", the Scot said. "Regardless of how we do it, we have to get a win but we certainly will drag teams into it".

"That's why we had to find something which meant that maybe he wasn't quite as exposed to having to double-up, help the full-back out", Moyes said.

Moyes was disappointed to see three efforts ruled out for offside but felt the third one surrounding Carroll, when he handled inside the area, could have gone in his side's favour.

Jordan Hugill scored 13 goals in all competitions for Preston last season in the Championship and built upon that with 10 before January this season. "I think the referee got the (others) right".
