Here's another interesting tidbit of information from Counterpoint's report: the iPhone X alone accounted for 35 percent of all industry profits during Q4 2017.

A number of other equities analysts have also issued reports on AAPL. Furthermore, iPhone X alone became the top collector as it accounted for 35 percent of the Apple sales which is nearly the one-third.

According to the latest report by Counterpoint Research, Apple remained the most profitable premium smartphone brand, capturing about 86% of the total handset market profits. Instead, the global handset profits have been dipped by around 1 percent (year-on-year) in Q4 2017. Counterpoint Research has taken a whack at worldwide handset profit estimates for Q4 2017, and the firm's findings are on the mind-blowing side. It revealed the two new iPad models Apple just launched, new MacBooks that were revealed at WWDC 2017, and more. Even in India, the brand adheres to a strict profit margin which also leads to final prices that are much higher than the smartphones sold in US.

"Cook said in a statement that "[The] iPhone X surpassed our expectations and has been our top-selling iPhone every week since it shipped in November.

Speaking of those displays, a report from Economic Daily News that was earlier covered by Valuewalk suggests Apple has tapped Samsung Display for production on the iPhone X line's displays. The tenth-anniversary iPhone, priced at $999 and up, accounted for 35% of smartphone profits even though the phone was available for only two months of the calendar fourth quarter (November and December, of course).

According to the current news, Apple has registered 11 new iPhones that will run iOS 11: A1920, A1921, A1984, A2097, A2098, A2099, A2101, A2103, A2104, A2105 and A2106.

Trump Sends 'blessings' for Upcoming North-South Korea Summit to End War
CIA Director Mike Pompeo recently traveled to North Korea to meet with leader Kim Jong Un , two USA officials said Tuesday. Officials signal Trump is open to considering exempting Japan from new steel and aluminum tariffs that Abe opposes.

After the success of Apple's flagship device, the iPhone X, the company is already focused on the next iteration of its smartphone phenom.

Previously, the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo appeared to cast doubt on an iPhone SE 2 back in January, saying that Apple wouldn't have the internal resources to develop a new model.

Spotted by MacRumors, none of these codenames correspond with any of Apple's existing devices and device codes like this have been able to give up secrets like the existence of new iPads prior to their launches.

The mid-tier offering of the smartphone series will be the second generation iPhone X which some call the iPhone X 2. All Android smartphone manufacturers, meanwhile, generated a total of 14 percent.

While officially unconfirmed by Apple, both the lack of a price increase in the 2018 iPhone range, and its abandoning of the numerical naming convention make sense to us here at T3.
