Sacked AAP adviser Raghav Chadha refunds Rs 2.50 salary to home ministry

Sacked AAP adviser Raghav Chadha refunds Rs 2.50 salary to home ministry

The GAD issued a notification cancelling the appointment of nine advisors and consultants out of which four, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said, were "not even working with the government anymore".

Moreover, government sources claimed, a scrutiny of appointments to such posts by the General Administration Department (GAD), which followed later, revealed not only that the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) or the Lieutenant-Governor were not consulted prior to affecting these, but also that the Chief Minister's sanction had not been taken "in many cases" with the appointments being made by the "office of the GAD Minister superseding competent authorities".

Does this move have another flip side to it?

"Modi Government's order to remove Delhi government advisors is a conspiracy to derail education revolution in Delhi". The services are under the Lieutenant Governor.

The ones whose appointments have been cancelled are deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia's advisors Atishi Marlena and Ragh-av Chaddha, his media advisor Arunoday Praka-sh, law minister Kailash Gahlot's media advisor Amar Deep Tiwari, power, health and PWD minister Satyendra Jain's consultants Prashant Saxena and Samir Malhotra, his aide-de-camp Rajat Tiwari, his OSD Brigadier Dinkar Adeeb (Retd), and GAD minister Gopal Rai's advisor Ram Kumar Jha. He wrote, "Impressive diversionary tactics by the MHA, at the behest of BJP".

But, like I said late last season, it's such a fluid process that it's hard to put a time frame and a time table on these things. Wentz completed 60.2 percent of his passes for 3,296 yards with just seven interceptions in 13 games in 2017.

In its order, the GAD said that the Union home ministry had clarified that the AAP government had not taken prior approval for the appointment of the nine appointees who were officiating on their respective posts. "To divert attention from spate of rapes, cash crunch etc, an opportune time to rake up non issues with AAP like retrospective sacking for a post I held for 45 days in 2016 for a paltry sum of Rs.2.50/". Only four out of the total nine officials are now working with the Aam Aadmi Party whereas the rest 5 worked in the past/never worked for the party before.

She was appointed to help Sisodia, also the Education Minister of Delhi, to improve schools and education system on a token salary of just Rs 1.

Whether this is a plot to defame the Aam Aadmi Party's reputation in Delhi remains to be seen.

The party won some reprieve recently when the Delhi High court set aside the Election Commission's order disqualifying 20 of its lawmakers for holding offices of profit as parliamentary secretaries.
