Tyler Myers leaves Jets' game with apparent leg injury

Hours after what the National Weather Service dubbed a "historic" mid-April snowstorm that dumped a foot of snow on the Twin Cities, caused hundreds of accidents and pushed the Jets team charter back to Winnipeg, we're playing hockey.

Minnesota was 27-6-8 at home during the regular season.

After squeaking out a 3-2 win in Game 1, the Jets responded with a convincing 4-1 Game 2 victory.

But with the landing out of the question, the flight was diverted to Duluth, more than 250 kilometres away, where the plane sat on the tarmac for more than 2½ hours before flying back to Winnipeg.

Another attempt to depart for Minnesota will be made Sunday morning.

"It's overblown", Boudreau said of his opponents' travel issues.

Josh Morrissey has repeated it several times already in this series: You need to have a short memory in the playoffs. Did they agree with those who felt replays of the hit showed Foligno reaching out and deliberately punching Myers in the back of the knee as both men fell?

It was a steady climb after that for Seeler, who was dubbed the most improved player in the organization before finally being called up to the big leagues in the middle of this season. He's a great player. They were good tonight and we didn't like our game.

The Jets had been rolling right along, but then they were crushed in game three of this series. "There wasn't a whole lot of penalties the first two games, ' (Jets center Bryan) Little said". "The guys care a lot, and they're a resilient group, but, most of all, they're competitive and they care". Don't go chasing them.

Byfuglien, now 33 years old, knows these playoff opportunities aren't to be taken for granted. "He is OK. He should be well-rested for [Sunday night]".

Myers scored six goals to go with 30 assists during the regular season, and now he has a pair of goals and an assist in the playoffs. "And I think that was key", Jordan Greenway said. Hellebuyck's save percentage in the playoffs is.847 and that is simply not close to good enough. "I was lucky to put one by him". Laine has 46 goals and 28 assists to his name (and has registered at least one point in 53 games).

That said, few football fans would be surprised to see a whole zoo of captive animals running around at any event run by FIFA. Even the announcer said that Tima will participate in the World Cup's opening ceremony in Moscow which is scheduled in June.

"That was a huge game", Eric Staal said. He's played very, very well for us. They're timing is off, and they failed to provide enough puck support during their zone exits. "We got all our gear". Like other sports, you have to win one in the other team's building.

"If you come with speed, they're in trouble".

The Minnesota Wild lost two tough games on the road to start the series against the Winnipeg Jets. He had a team-high five shots on goal in Game 1 and added three more in Game 2. "We were watching kinda the afternoon games and watching the basketball games, so different guys kinda used their hot spots to turn the games on". "Our forwards have been extremely hard in not giving them any clean ice to make passes on breakouts".

"That's the style we want to play".

Byfuglien was named the games No. 1 star.

"He's been incredible", said teammate Adam Lowry. The Wild suddenly looked like a physically imposing, offensively competent team in Game 3.

Through two games in the series, shots on goal in the third period alone are 36-7 Winnipeg.

"He's doing it all", marveled Lowry. "Playing with (Jared Spurgeon) and (Nate Prosser) has been great". He's using his size effectively.

The Jets have a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

"He's surprised me since he's been here", coach Bruce Boudreau said. Myers would later leave the game after getting injured during a collision with Foligno.

"We gotta play the biggest game of the year".
