In December 2017, OnePlus and Disney partnered to launch OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition, which was well received by fans across both communities. Now, the company has confirmed that it has tied up with Avengers: Infinity War for a special OnePlus 6 Avengers: Infinity War edition, just like the OnePlus 5T was launched in a Star Wars Special Edition variant a few days after its official launch.

"OnePlus' association with Marvel Studios is a manifestation of the enduring love and support they have garnered from its respective community over the years with a goal to go beyond the ordinary and achieve groundbreaking innovations in mobile technology only to create the best user experiences", OnePlus writes in a press note.

The announcement comes before OnePlus has even officially announced the OnePlus 6.

Together, OnePlus and Marvel will "come face to face with infinite power and the war that will decide the fate of our universe" on April 27.

What it didn't talk about was what are the details of the OnePlus 6 Marvel variant.

The OnePlus 6 is expected to have 8GB RAM, 256GB internal memory, and a Snapdragon 845 processor. However, considering the social media activity of OnePlus, the company could soon hint at a release date as well. The company might also be releasing new colour variants along with the standard Midnight Black colour variant.

As far as other specs are concerned, the smartphone will flaunt a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2,280×1,080 pixel resolution. A 3,450mAh battery will fuel the device and will support company's Dash fast charging functionality. Last but not the least, the company has already confirmed the most controversial iPhone X-like notch is here to stay. In fact, OnePlus' CEO Carl Pei is the source of some of the leaks, following their "strategy" for years.
