Photo After a lengthy absence from the public eye, Kanye West announced a pair of new albums on Twitter.

West, who just rejoined Twitter last week, tweeted on Thursday that he is releasing a new album on June 1.

Kanye also tweeted "June 1st" and "my album is 7 songs", but it's unclear if he's referring to a seperate project.

He also announced upcoming album releases by Teyana Taylor and Pusha T.

Kanye West has wasted no time responding to a storm of critical tweets from his one-time protege Kid Cudi.

His album with Cudi will follow June 8. According to Complex, the rumors were further confirmed when Chy the Prince noted that West would be handling the producing on Cudi's next project.

Kanye's last release was February 2016's The Life of Pablo, which received positive reviews from critics and debuted on the US Billboard 200 at number-one. Kid Cudi, Nas, Travis Scott, Mike Dean, Pi'erre Bourne, and even Drake were seen in Wyoming, presumably to record with Kanye in some capacity. My guess is that we'll actually see the whole thing released via Twitter but I have no details that support that.

Mr. West, you officially have the floor.
