(G.N.S) DT.15 OPPO owned Realme brand has launched its first smartphone Realme 1 in India.

OPPO has unveiled its new sub-brand in India, Realme.

The Realme 1 has been launched exclusively on Amazon India. The e-commerce platform already has a dedicated page live for the same. The latter two are among the best all-rounders in this segment right now, but Realme feels that the Realme 1 with its MediaTek Helio P60 chipset paired with up to 6GB RAM and and an attractive design has enough to take them on.

The company is offering the Realme 1 in three configurations-3GB RAM+ 32GB storage, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM+128GB-for Rs 8,990, Rs 10,990 and Rs 13,990, respectively. The handset appears to include a metallic framework and a glistening back panel using triangular-cut, diamond designs. Users can look forward to such tasks as real-time beautification, real-time video previews and such with ideal ease with the new Realme 1. The first flash sale is scheduled for 12 PM, May 25th. The top-end variant having 6GB RAM packs 128GB of internal storage. The mid-range phone is tipped to house a 3410mAh battery and Realme also teased an AI battery management feature to give the phone extra juice. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC that's clocked up to 2GHz, coupled with 3GB, 4GB, or 6GB of RAM depending on the variant, as well as a dual-core AI-specific chip. The phone comes with an attractive Black Diamond design similar to the Oppo F7 and also touts impressive specs under-the-hood aimed for the "youth" that require a fast, multitasking-capable phone. While the rest of the specifications look great for a phone in this category, the Realme 1 misses out on a fingerprint sensor.

The dual-SIM handset is backed by a 3,410mAh battery.

As part of the launch offer, Amazon is offering 5 percent cashback for all purchases made using SBI cards including Reliance Jio benefits for Rs 4850.

The 13MP rear camera also features the AI Scene Recognition which can intelligently and accurately identify different scenes and objects in real-time to tune the flawless balance of brightness, exposure, color and contrast. The Realme 1, on the other hand, has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front facing camera.

The AI Shot included in Realme 1, acts as a personal beauty artist to customize beauty based on your unique facial features so that your photos will "capture the real you". Both the front as well as rear camera feature Vivid and Bokeh effects along with AR stickers.
