Cardi B defends Rita Ora's 'Girls' amid criticism from the LGBTQ+ community

The rapper contributed a guest rap on the track, the chorus of which features Rita singing: "Sometimes I just wanna kiss girls, girls, girls, red wine, I just wanna kiss girls, girls, girls". "I would never intentionally cause harm to other LBGTQ+ people or anyone". The Bardi Gang leader also served as an advocate for those who are not familiar with the proper terminology to properly refer to the LGBT community, while doubling down on not having negative intentions. Kehlani and Hayley Kiyoko were two people that were outspoken about how the song made them feel. And Cardi B tweeted, too, in typical Cardi fashion: Whether or not "Girls" meant any harm, Hayley Kiyoko and others are constant reminders that the art we make and listen to does, ultimately, have an impact. Girls was written to represent a truth and is an accurate account of a very real and honest experience in my life. "I personally myself had experiences with other woman, shiieeett with a lot of woman [sic]", she added.

The mom-to-be, 25, who received backlash for a resurfaced interview with "The Breakfast Club" in which she used a derogatory term for lesbians, also apologized for what she said.

"I know i have use words before that i wasn't aware that they are offensive to the LGBT community".

Wildlife officers kill bear suspected of attacking girl
A bear that was involved in an attack on a girl in Colorado was tracked down and killed, according to reports. Wildlife agents were hunting for the bear with tracking hounds and had set traps to catch it.

Ora's own bisexuality is referenced in the song with lyrics like, "I ain't one-sided / I'm open-minded / I'm 50-50 and I'm never going to hide it".

The "Bodak Yellow" singer took the moment to also apologize for her past use of gay slurs, loosely referencing a controversy a year ago when her fiancé Offset used the phrase "I can not vibe with queers" in a freestyle verse and she defended him. & have met them all and respect them.

Cardi is back to tweeting as normal, including promotion of her "Invastion of Privacy" album and woes of pregnancy, however she's not back on Instagram yet.
