More hail, thunderstorms and rain showers on the radar for Denver today

Meteorologists surveyed the towns on Monday afternoon, after people reported extensive wind damage to the National Weather Service, Jensenius said.

The Storm Prediction Center out of Norman, Oklahoma has issued a "Slight Risk" for severe weather across a vast majority of the region, including most of South Jersey, the Philly Metro, and the Lehigh Valley. Hail to the size of tennis balls, wind gusts up to 75 miles per hour and heavy rain are all possible as storms develop and move through the area. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Precipitation returns Friday night and will likely be present through both weekend days, forecasters wrote.

The warning declared that at 6.12pm ET (10.12pm GMT) a "severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado" had been located near the region of Leesburg.

A large complex of showers and thunderstorms originating over MI will move southeast across the area through early this afternoon. Temperatures will reach the lower 80s again on Thursday.

The odds of severe storms in parts of Upstate New York on Tuesday are growing.

The weather forecast for Wednesday is mostly cloudy, with the chance for rain way down at just 20 percent. They have also issued an Enhanced Risk for severe storms throughout the Poconos. This storm will impact Turkey, Brice and Lakeview moving northeast at 20 miles per hour. A mix of and clouds is likely, and high temperatures will still hit the mid 70s. Afternoon thunderstorms are also possible.

Lehigh Valley residents are advised to continually monitor the forecast, especially if you live in an area that is prone to flooding.

Unfortunately, we have a chance of showers and thunderstorms both Saturday and Sunday, but the exact timing isn't clear yet.
