Palestinian ambassadors recalled from four European Union countries

Guatemala opened an embassy in Jerusalem on Wednesday, two days after the USA made the same move.

"It's not a coincidence that Guatemala is opening its embassy in Jerusalem right among the first". Israel said all 86 countries with diplomatic missions in Israel were invited to the event, and 33 accepted.

USA president Donald Trump announced his decision in December to recognise Jerusalem as Israel's capital and move the American embassy there, triggering a joyous reaction from Mr Netanyahu's government. After the is only the country that has relocated its embassy to the occupied city.

The European Union opposed the United States move of its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

The Palestinians said they consider the participation a "grave violation of global law". "Make no mistake, such an insult against the Palestinian people reflects the insult against millions of Central Americans that have struggled for the values of justice and peace", the Palestinian Authority's Chief Negotiator added. "And we'd also like to see Israel Streets in Guatemala".

House Speaker Tim Moore's office added that the estimated average teacher salary will be approximately $53,400 in 2019. Senator Jeff Tarte from Cornelius says he will be meeting with several teachers who travel to Raleigh this week.

Guatemala was one of only a few nations that backed Trump's decision in December to recognise Jerusalem as Israel's capital and is only the second country to move its embassy to the holy city.

Turkey has expressed outrage over the killing by Israeli forces on Monday of 60 Palestinians during protests and clashes on the Gaza border and also blamed tensions on the United States decision to move its embassy for Israel to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv.

The Palestinians want east Jerusalem as the capital of their future state, and view the relocation of the embassy as a one-sided move that invalidates the USA as a peace broker in the region.

The ministry said the ambassadors' presence at the inauguration ceremony was a "major violation of global law and of numerous United Nations resolutions". According to health officials, at least 63 Palestinians were killed along the Gaza Strip in the demonstrations Monday.
