Suspended Pennsylvania teacher shot, killed in mother's driveway

Six months before her death, the school where DelTondo taught suspended her after police reportedly discovered her in a vehicle with steamed-up windows in the wee hours of the morning - with a 17-year-old boy.

DelTondo had been suspended after confidential information was leaked from the police department regarding an encounter between her and an underage student from another school.

A medical examiner confirmed that DelTondo died from several gunshot wounds to her torso.

"I counted six shots that I heard", said Fred Poore, a neighbor.

It's a shock and a mystery to neighbors on the quiet street.

The suspension came after school officials received an anonymous email containing a February 2016 police report stating DelTondo had been found in a parked auto with a 17-year-old former student. The report stated that no charges had been filed against DelTondo in the incident.

Inside was DelTondo and the teen.

She defended herself at the time by saying that the pair were just talking and that the teen was no longer a student.

She begged officers not to tell her fiancé "because he would get mad". Officers later drove the teen home. The report was not public knowledge until the anonymous email was sent in October previous year.

Ronaldo speaks on Neymar's transfer to Real Madrid
Marcelo told reporters : "The best come to Madrid and I would love to play with Neymar ". "I don't decide anything for Real Madrid ".

The leak prompted a state police investigation of the Aliquippa Police - which DelTondo complied with.

Brian Hayden, chief executive officer of the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, said he was "saddened" by the death. However, the check never came in the mail, so the family reached out to their local KDKA-TV reporter, Marty Griffin's segment, "Get Marty". "We express our sympathy to her family and coworkers and will support them in any way possible in the weeks and months ahead as they mourn her passing".

That information led to a suspension from her teaching job at Pa. Cyber.

Earlier previous year, DelTondo was in the press over a dispute with a bridal shop over her wedding dress.

The family, who had already put down a $4,600 non-refundable deposit, told the salon they would like to pay the balance and receive the dress so they could sell it, but said the designer never delivered the gown and refused to refund their deposit. The incident reportedly took place in February 2016.

Meanwhile, friends and neighbors are struggling to make sense of what appears to be a senseless crime.

'I don't know why that happened. "I really don't... attractive lady, friendly, knew everybody, talked to everybody".

Authorities in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, said she had gone to an ice cream shop on Sunday night and had returned home when she was shot multiple times.

Neither the Aliquippa Police nor the Beaver County District Attorney's Office would comment on the investigation, or whether any suspects have been interviewed.
