Wagner Takes GOP Nomination for Governor

Upstart Paul Mango, a retired health care consultant, finished second with 36 percent.

Wagner is president and owner of York-based Penn Waste, Inc. and KBS Trucking in Thomasville.

Scott Wagner, Republican candidate for Pennsylvania Governor, campaigns at a diner in Imperial, Pa. Monday, May 14, 2018, the day before the Pennsylvania primary where he faces two other Republicans, Paul Mango and Laura Ellsworth.

As early returns trickled in, he said he was confident that Wagner would prevail.

Wagner pledged to work to improve the state's business climate and press for better schools, but his supporters most enthusiastically responded to his pledge to get rid of school property taxes. He spent that money promoting his military background as a West Point graduate and Army Ranger who received an honorable discharge in 1986.

"Leading the Republican legislature, Scott Wagner has been standing in the way of progress and blocking efforts to change Harrisburg and help Pennsylvania families".

And Mango warned Wagner what would happen if he didn't take down his ads, the station said.

Sony to end production of physical Vita games
The message says that Sony's branches " plan to end all Vita GameCard production by close of fiscal year 2018 ". The Playstation Vita was released in 2011 to Japanese gamers and in February 2012 in most other regions.

"Ellsworth is not likely to win", Madonna said.

In his victory speech, Wagner, 62, called for party unity.

Mr. Wolf and GOP legislative leaders also were sharply divided over the state Supreme Court's imposition of a new congressional map, after the high court found the GOP had unlawfully distorted the state's districts to boost its electoral prospects. In the summer of 2016, when some republicans refused to attend that year's national convention, Wagner told reporters he planned to buy 20,000 Trump lawn signs. Mr. Wagner also supports raising the state minimum wage, and he was a sponsor of an anti-discrimination bill in the areas of housing, employment and public accommodations.

Wagner may be the front-runner in our poll, but he says he's acting like the underdog.

Wagner, like Trump, eschewed political correctness as he barreled forward delivering his message to drain the swamp and fix our broken state government. "I'm not wounded at all", he said in a May 4 interview, adding that he thought voters were "seeing through" the negative ads.

A big part of Mango's expenses were tied up in a statewide commercial that mocked Wagner's personal and business life. Also, Stack could not overcome political baggage stemming from his frosty relationship with Wolf, who previous year stripped Stack of his state police security detail and other state services, saying Stack and his wife were overly rude to them. "Undoubtedly it will be reopened in the general election".
