Browns selected for "Hard Knocks"

Browns selected for

Less than a month ago Cleveland Browns GM John Dorsey seemed less than enthused about the idea of his team being featured on Hard Knocks.

Hard Knocks, which debuted in 2001, is a reality show that follows National Football League teams throughout training camp leading up to the regular season.

HBO's cameras are certain to focus on Browns rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield, the brash Heisman Trophy victor from Oklahoma recently selected first overall.

Six teams were eligible this year, and the network apparently chose Cleveland over San Francisco, Denver, San Diego, Baltimore and Washington. The Hard Knocks cameras will likely key in on the rookie, whose overall personality could easily see him become one of the most compelling characters of this season. "Being a part of Hard Knocks will give our fans the opportunity to see how passionate the people in our building are about winning and how excited we are about getting to work and preparing for the 2018 season".

The Crew 2 Closed Beta Scheduled By Ubisoft For Later This Month
Ubisoft has announced a closed beta for their upcoming open-world racing game The Crew 2 which will take place later this month. The Crew 2 , judging from our time playing it at E3 a year ago , will embrace the absurdity of its ideas.

Browns general manager John Dorsey had previously expressed his reluctance to be a part of the show, saying there isn't anything good that comes of it.

Both head coach Hue Jackson and defensive coordinator Gregg Williams have appeared on Hard Knocks previously. But after talking about it as an organization, he feels much better about the situation. "We have been asked multiple times about being featured on Hard Knocks, and we really felt like it was our turn this year and the timing was right".

In 2017, "Hard Knocks" was in Tampa Bay with the Buccaneers and two years ago, HBO tracked the Rams in their first year in Los Angeles. The program's film crew is set to descend on the team's training camp this summer, with plans to shoot thousands of hours worth of behind-the-scenes footage.
