Mike Budenholzer to become the next head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks

This, after he had a second interview with Bucks ownership in NY.

Head coach Mike Budenholzer of the Atlanta Hawks looks on from the bench while playing the Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena on November 10, 2017 in Detroit, Michigan.

Budenholzer met with team ownership Tuesday, and prior to Wednesday's report, had been considered a favorite for the job.

Mike Budenholzer was relieved of his head coaching duties by the Atlanta Hawks earlier this offseason.

Wagner Takes GOP Nomination for Governor
A big part of Mango's expenses were tied up in a statewide commercial that mocked Wagner's personal and business life. Scott Wagner, Republican candidate for Pennsylvania Governor, campaigns at a diner in Imperial, Pa.

Budenholzer would take over for interim coach Joe Prunty, who took the reins when Jason Kidd was sacked in January. Unfortunately, players like Al Horford, Jeff Teague, and Paul Millsap ended up going elsewhere and the Hawks were one of the worst teams in the National Basketball Association in 2017-18. Budenholzer won four championships as an assistant with the Spurs.

The Hawks were Conference Finalists under Budenholzer in 2015, following a 60-win regular season that earned him Coach of the Year honors. Guard Khris Middleton was also reportedly at that breakfast.

Budenholzer spent 17 years as an assistant under Spurs coach Gregg Popovich before his hiring in Atlanta in 2013.

Having built teams separately centered around success on both ends of the court, Budenholzer is an intriguing fit for the Bucks.
