Oklahoma woman killed after getting attacked by pack of dachshunds

An Oklahoma woman was reportedly mauled to death by her neighbor's seven small dogs.

News outlet KTEN reported 52-year-old Tracy Garcia was standing outside her Carter County, Okla., home last Thursday when she was mauled by her neighbour's seven dogs.

Sheriff Chris Bryant said all seven dogs involved in the attack were mixed breeds, and all were under 40 pounds.

Bryant said unincorporated areas of Carter County, where the attack took place, have no leash laws, and no arrests have been made, KTEN reported.

Officials said six of the dogs were believed to be standard dachshund and terrier mix.

Shenmue III delayed for a second time
Yu Suzuki then chimed in on the game's Kickstarter page , saying "To all of our backers, we are very sorry for the delay". " Deep Silver today announced that their upcoming release Shenmue III has been moved and will now release in 2019".

'Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the victims.

The dogs were then sent to the Ardmore Animal Shelter. Shelter co-director Tena Layton told The Daily Ardmorette that the oldest dog was possibly the pack's mother. "Unfortunately ... we had to shoot one dog", Bryant says, per KFOR, adding they opened fire on it "to protect our deputies, as well as the medical personnel".

All of the animals were heavily infested with ticks and fleas, euthanasia technician Amanda Dinwiddie told KCII. "They have really noticeable characteristics like their knobby legs, knees, very short legged dogs and their coats". "This is just a bad deal all the way around".

Police are investigating what triggered the deadly attack and if there will be any charges filed against the dogs' owner, who has not been identified.

Garcia died at a hospital later that day from her injuries.
