The Arrow-verse Is Finally Embracing Batman's Mythos By Introducing Batwoman

Behind him was a brand new piece of key art, which showed Oliver Queen/Green Arrow (Stephen Amell), Kara Danvers/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), and Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) standing in a burning Gotham City.

The CW's annual crossover, and Batwoman's first appearance in a movie or television show, is scheduled to air this December.

We'll bring you more news from the Arrowverse as and when we get it!

Stephen Amell took to the stage at this year's CW Upfronts presentation to announce that DC Comics character Batwoman would be making her Arrowverse debut, in the universe's next big crossover event. "For the very first time appearing, we'll be fighting alongside Batwoman, which is terrific".

The character has since headlined her own title as well as DC's Detective Comics; she was also included prominently in the Batman: Bad Blood animated feature.

YouTube Will Now Publish Music Credits On Videos
YouTube reached a settlement in 2016 with the National Music Publishers Association (NMPA) to pay royalties to songwriters. Why YouTube has waited so long to present this music discovery feature is anyone's guess ( Shazam anyone), but here it is.

CW president Mark Pedowitz confirmed that the introducing of Batwoman will be the first time the character will make an appearance "on any screen".

Batwoman, aka Kate Kane, is one of several vigilantes who protect Gotham. "This will be another full-throttled, action-packed event", Pedowitz promised.

With such a long career in comics, Batwoman will certainly make a great addition to the Arrowverse and could even be a gateway into Gotham City itself.

Batwoman's involvement in the Arrowverse will be featured in the next big crossover event housed on the network. In fact, Batwoman was one of the most popular books of the early New 52 era before the creative team of W. Haden Blackman and J.H. Williams III left the book after DC refused to let Batwoman marry Maggie Sawyer.

The episode is slated to air in December.
