BCCI put together impressive line-up for Women's T20 Challenge

The Supernovas boasts of a formidable line-up with Harmanpreet, India Women's T20 captain, leading the batting alongside Devine, Wyatt, Perry and an Indian contingent of Mithali Raj, Veda Krishnamurthy and Mona Meshram. "Australia's captain Meg Lanning has recovered from her injury and will be a part of Harmanpreet Kaur-led IPL Supernovas".

The one-off encounter will have 26 players, which includes 10 global players from Australia, New Zealand and England.

The first qualifier of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 at the Wankhede Stadium on May 22 in Mumbai will witness a historic clash between the IPL Trailblazers and IPL Supernovas as part of the Women's T20 clash.

No firm details of the new league have yet been revealed, but pressure for a women's IPL has been building since India reached the final of the women's World Cup in England a year ago.

Trump lawyer Cohen sought $1 mln from Qatar in late 2016
His Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Fla., received $25 million, and his golf club in Bedminster, N.J., generated $15 million. Common Cause, a nonpartisan watchdog group in Washington , has filed a complaint with the U.S.

With an eye on growing this wave, the BCCI is hosting the T20 Challenge to provide the women's game a platform alongside its most popular tournament. Rajeev Shukla, Chairman, IPL, said, "We were in talks with several Boards and I am pleased with the outcome".

Besides the earlier list of global players announced by the BCCI, Australia's Meg Lanning and New Zealand's Lea Tahuhu are also set to appear for the Supernovas and Trailblazers respectively. "Danni Wyatt and Daniel Hazell will add the English flavour".

The Supernovas, on the other hand, will be led by the hard-hitting Kaur while other Indians include Mithali Raj and Veda Krishnamurthy.
