Moto 1S with 5.7-inch display, Snapdragon 450, dual rear cameras announced

Motorola has launched a new phone in China, called the Moto 1S, which is essentially a rebranded Moto G6. Despite the narrow bezels, the phone keeps a home button on the front which embeds a fingerprint sensor.

Going through the Moto 1S specs, the smartphones comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Aart from the dual camera, the Moto 1s also features 5.7-inch FHD+ display and Snapdragon 450 processor. As of the optics, the phone features a 12-megapixel primary camera sensor at the back with f/1.8 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, enabling users to take bokeh-like photos.

Separately, Motorola is gearing up to launch the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play in India later this month as per a recent teaser.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Moto 1s runs Android 8.0 Oreo with the company's ZUI 3.5 skin on top. The smartphone is already available for purchase via Lenovo's online shop as well as Motorola store in China. Along with 4GB of RAM, the phone also packs 64GB of internal storage, with the option to expand it up to 128GB, via an microSD card. Both the front and rear cameras are accompanied by a LED flash. It has a bunch of sensors including accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. Dimensions measure 153.8 x 72.3 x 8.3 mm and it weighs 168g. Finally, the smartphone has a 3000 mAh Li-ion non-user replaceable battery with Turbocharging support via USB type C port.
