Chicago State Professor: Roseanne Barr’s Tweet Is ‘Disheartening’

Trump tweeted that the CEO of ABC's parent company called Valerie Jarrett to say the network wouldn't tolerate Barr's tweet about her. Trump wrote that CEO Bob Iger never call him to apologize for "the frightful statements" that have been said about him on ABC". Trump tweeted Wednesday morning.

But once her co-stars started to condemn her tweet that compared Barack Obama's aide Valerie Jarrett, who is black, as a mix between the Muslim Brotherhood and Planet Of The Apes, she turned on them.

"Roseanne has said herself that she does not want what she says to overshadow the show in any way, and I do hope that she will continue to be thoughtful about what she shares on social media going forward", ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey said in the same article.

Roseanne Barr shows no signs she will remain quiet about her firing from her popular ABC series and has highlighted supporters' tweets criticizing the network.

Media company Viacom announced Tuesday evening that it would be pulling reruns of the original sitcom immediately from all of its outlets, including CMT, TV Land and the Paramount Network, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The comedian later apologized to the cast and crew of her show who are now without jobs.

Barr held onto her beloved Twitter presence and the community she has cultivated there.

But the comedian was back on the platform soon after, posting: "I'm exhausted of being attacked and belittled more than other comedians who have said worse".

"It's terrific, I tell you, I love what he did", Trump then tells Moore of his film.

"While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication", its USA arm said on Twitter.

"I'm not a racist, I never was & I never will be", Barr tweeted. It was egregious indefensible. "But, we all make mistakes, right Chelsea?" "I wish I hadn't". Shortly after the show aired in March, it was renewed for a second season.

Mr. Rasmussen, who was a supervising producer for one season on the old show before being fired, said there was a sense of goal this time that the show could speak to a segment of the country that was often overlooked in prime-time TV.

"The awful part is all of the talented innocent people who worked on that show now suffer because of this", tweeted Shonda Rhimes, herself no stranger to what it takes to pull of a hit show on ABC.

(I'd) "rather say nothing than to cause more trouble", he said in video footage released by ET.
