John Beilein Announces He’s Staying At Michigan

Former Raptors coach Dwane Casey and Beilein reportedly interviewed with the Pistons, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. And he has no intention of leaving Ann Arbor before retiring.

Head coach John Beilein of the Michigan Wolverines looks on during practice before the 2018 Men's NCAA Final Four at the Alamodome on March 30, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. "Beilein had talked separately with Gores and Detroit management in process, league sources said".

After visiting with the Detroit Pistons twice about their recent head coaching opening, MI men's basketball's all-time wins leader announced Wednesday that he'll remain in Ann Arbor.

Rihanna told Anne Hathaway: 'You’ve got an ass like me!'
She started by saying most people assume that groups of women can't get along, but their set was filled with so much love.

Just a few days after opening a lot of eyes interview for the Detroit Pistons job, it now appears that John Beilein has pulled his name from consideration and will continue as the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines. He is now signed through the 2020-21 season at $3.37 million per year.

Beilein now holds a 724-419 overall record as a head coach, and a 24-12 record in the NCAA Tournament. On Wednesday morning, Beilein took to Twitter and said he loves the University of MI. U-M has not released any information about a potential extension, though it's clear athletic director Warde Manuel is working on one. We made it a priority to sit down shortly after our tremendous run in the Final Four to discuss and solidify his future at MI.
